Winchester 64gr power point and an AR15...?

Hey guys, I've got some old 64gr winnie powerpoint bullets lying around. These are the ones which have the lead tip on them. I've never tried this type of bullet in my AR, and was wondering if any of you's guy might have done so. I'm wondering if the lead will cause problems feeding the round.

Thoughts?

You should be good to go. I've used lead tipped (softnose) bullets with great success in my ARs. Absolutely no feeding problems in any of my three Ar15s.

Hey thanks man. I know my old AR didn't like them, so was hesitant to load 'em up for the new one. I'll try a few out at the range this weekend!
