Winchester 88

I recieved this Winchester 88 in .308 and was wondering if any of you guys could give me an estimate on what it might be worth?

And on the left side of the butt there is a plastic horse show with a horse head in the center. What is so special about that?

That was a nice example of a pre 64,as such $500-$600.
With a bubbad stock ,quite a bit less.

bubbad? whats bubbad on it? The horse thing im thinking maybe is some kind of centennial thing.

Our local shop recently had three used/nice shaope, pre '64 Model 88's in the rack with old scopes on 'em for $425 each... all eventually sold but they were there for a good year or so.

With a modified stock, $400.00 max, even for a pre-64. If it was a .358 or a .284, It would be more.
