What can you tell me about the 94 angle eject? Worthwhile to own or worthy of a pass? What is the significance of the G9412E or did I not get that right?

I've had an angle eject since 1994. Mine has 1894-1994 stamped on the receiver. I haven't used it much, but it seems to work fine. Accuracy is as what can be expected from a 94. Some may say it's no where near the pre 64 Winchesters, and that I can't argue with as I have never fired/used a pre 64 model. The reason they came up with the AE is so you can mount a scope above the receiver and not on the side like the old ones. Otherwise it's just fine.

I have one in 7-30 Waters. Nice gun. I have had a few others of various models and it seems to be just as good or just as bad depending how you like them.

Have 44 mag carbine 94 AE ....Trails end model. Winchester, plus others. Scoped it with a 1x5 power Bushnell...shotgun scope. Not one issue on jamming. A VERY good 100 yard rifle with factory Winchester 240 grain jacketed soft points.

My 3030 is same thing AE no issues.

I love the model 94. I've had quite a few over the years, both pre's & posts. no problems with any of them. amongest them were:
30-30
32 Special
307
356
375
I've been down sizing and decided to keep only a 30-30 and a 32 special, both pre '64, mostly for keep sake and to have and to hold, forever. Got old eyes, so I now hunt with BLR's and Micro Medallions and a Stainless Stalker and a Sako A7 and Ruger No.1's, all scoped.
If I were you, I would not be afraid to buy an AE. Good luck.
