Hello,
My buddy is thinking of selling a Klondike Gold Rush Commemorative .
Excellent condition.

Comes with original box, which is a bit beaten up.
Said he fired 3 rounds and that the remaining 17 is included as well.

What’s a ballpark fair price?

Thanks

$800...
There are many in the EE...many not be a Klondike Gold Rush version.
Take a snoop through and you will see what they range from.
Just my Justinflation opinion.

Ya,I’ve seen a few Klondike gold rush on G post, for $1800 to $2200 but the box’s are mint and they have all the paperwork.
Although this rifle is in new condition, the box is rough and there’s no brochures.
I was thinking 8 or 9 hundred for a quick sale

I find the Commemorates are slightly over priced...even in mint condition.
Thats just my opinion.

I would think $800-900 would sell reasonably quick. I would never pay the premium some people seem to think these guns are worth, but I would buy one for a good price just to use, and a Win94 selling for under $1000 doesn't seem very common these days unless its beat to hell.

Does anyone actually collect these? I mean, I'm sure SOMEONE does, because someone collects practically everything you could possibly collect, but is there any real collector market for these?
A "fired" commemorative isnt a "collector" commemorative anymore in the collector world so pricing the same as any used "94" should be appropriate.

the enthusiasm might have died down considerably but there still is collector interest I think. I once saw a fist fight break out at a firearms auction over a commemorative sleeve that was discarded by a commemorative purchaser who did just want the rifle for a shooter (Bud Haynes auction back in the 70's when they were selling out of an old garage down by the river in Red Deer).
