Hey guys, I took apart my Win 94 as it was horrifyingly caked with schmoo.

As I was removing the trigger group, the hammer spring flew out across my healing bench. I saw how it was in there, but cannot for the life of me get it back into place, any tips? I've tried google, and I've looked at PDF's of manuals..

Let me know!

Does the hammer strut have a small hole in it? If so, compress the spring on to the strut until you can install a pin to hold the spring compressed in place while replacing it.
I have adjusted the jaws in a vise to just allow the strut to clear, then pushed the strut down through the spring. Do this at the end of the vise jaws and you will be able to insert a pin.

Oh you're a genius. It does have a hole for a pin, and I JUST bought a vise last week.
