Is the demand and price the same for pre 64 Winchester 94's in 32 special as compared to 30-30

Is the demand and price the same for pre 64 Winchester 94's in 32 special as compared to 30-30

No is the answer on both questions. Like the 35 Rem,the 32 Win Spc is loved by those that use them,but shunned by the masses. Even though the 32 Spc was made in lower numbers,it's price does'nt hold up next to the 30/30 most times.

I think the only time a 32 special would get a premium is if someone absolutely need one to complete a collection etc.

I've read that winchester originally brought out the .32 spl for people who hadn't bought in to the "new" smokeless powder craze. The .32 spl is supposedly a better cartridge to reload with black powder than the 30-30 was.

I've read that, I've also read that they had a crapload of .32 Cal. barrels laying around from .32/40s, and they wanted to replace it with something a little more modern.
