Winchester 94 Ranger .30-30

Can someone please explain the differences between the Ranger model of the Winchester 94 compared to the regular 94's to me. I have one and can find little info on the specific differences in the models and was sure some fellow CGN's could shine some light on it for me. Thanks.

IIRC the only differences when they came out was that the Ranger model was cheaper because the wood stocks were of a "lesser " quality in appearances only........no fancy wood nor finish......

I have a 'Ranger' .410 single shot that sits on the dash for road Grouse on Moose hunts. Question, was it made by Winchester?

"...a 'Ranger' .410 single shot..." Maybe, but not likely. The 'Ranger' name has been used for a plethora of inexpensive firearms for eons.
The 'Ranger' Win94's, like hs4570 says, were/are lower quality stocks/finished Win 94's. Same rifle otherwise.
