Winchester 94 ranger Value?

I was wondering if someone could tell me what the going price is for a Winchester 94 ranger in 30-30. I have a shotgun for sale locally and a guy showed up last night for a look with one of these rangers wondering if I was interested in a trade. It looks like it was hardly used but does have a scratch on the receiver. I was hoping to get around $300 for the shotgun. Would this be an even trade? Thanks.
 
I have a 94 Ranger and it is exactly what its supposed to be. A no frills, reliable, affordable lever rifle for deer hunting. Cant complain about it. What shotgun are you trading away for it?
 
The shotgun is a weatherby pa-08 I bought on here a little while back. I have several pump action shotguns so it is not really being used. I think I will trade tomorrow just to have it in the collection. Seems like a good deal according to you guys.

Personally, I'd prefer the Weatherby.
 
I have never handled a weatherby shotgun, I myself would keep it if I had one as a 94 can be had anyday, anywhere.
