I have looked back over some 40 pages of the Rimfire Forum and see very little mention of the discontinued Winchester 9422.
Is this rifle losing favour with the rimfire crowd or are there just fewer owners?

I have a 9422M classic....bought it almost 25 years ago new. Has probably 5 - 7 boxes of win ammo through it...mostly a safe queen...what are they worth these days?

Yup, eye do.
Detach mag with plenty of class, accuracy and an adjustable trigger verses
old school, heavy tube feed relic?
I own two CZ's and nadda 9422.
Not worth the effort.........................
One day you will own one too.

I have a safe queen that might be able to part with on trade for one of those old coke machines where you had to open the door to grab your drink. Need one for the man cave.

At 800 they seem over priced to me. Thy are very well made and shoot well. I have only owned 1. I would definitely take a 9422 over a browning or any thing else in a lever. The Marlin is a good 2nd choice. All JMHO.

I have a 94/22 and a 94/22M... They are very nice guns and I enjoy shooting them... But for pure fun and a smooth action, I prefer my half dozen Henry rimfires... I particular my modded H001T, also have a youth stocked Mare's Leg that is a hoot... And two Golden Boy's in LR and HMR... My Frontier's are in LR and WMR... The Henry's see daylight and the Winny's are safe queen's now.
