winchester 94AE 44 mag Trapper

I picked up a AE 94 made just prior to the stupid intro of the crossbolt then tang safety BS...looks like a great rig but does anyone has 1st hand experience with feeding issues??? I know the stamped lifter models in the 70s were jam prone but everything I read about these seems positive .... input appreciated
