Hi all,

Just purchased some Winchester 100round boxes of 9mm 115gr FMJ's and after reading alot of complaints as late as Aug 2012 in the US,has anyone had any issues with it here? The lots I bought are the same as some of the ones mentioned but with a -9 instead of -6 at the end. All mine seem to have WCC NATO cases even though it's only 115gr, maybe they did this to solve QC issues with their 9mmLUGER brass at the time.

People showed primers in backwards which could be picked up by physical examination of all bulk rounds prior to range session,....... cases crushed while bullet is seated with potential of an out of battery detonation due to firearm not going fully into battery, one guy had 7 in a box of 100 rounds like this. Another huge problem was flash holes missing from cases all together with the primer cup forced into the firing pin hole on firing with no place to go but back and jamming pistol shut on otherwise live round.

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. I did a search on both the ammo thread and here but didn't see anything on it. RTS

I have bought about 6 boxes in the last month or so and I gotta say my gun did not like it at all. Loads of fte's. So many that I ended up trading the last couple of boxes away. Used it in my 9mm sti spartan and with other brands an there are no problems at all. Blaser Brass and Aluminum 115 gr, AE 115, 124 and 147gr. It was weird because I have used the white box stuff before with no issues at all. Also the 2 boxes I traded away were to my buddy who has a Ruger SR9 and it went through his gun like butta. Go figure. Sh!tty thing is thats all my LGS has in 9mm right now. FML:O
