Winchester bore mirror value

Not sure if this is the correct spot to ask this but here goes, looking for some information on the value of a pair of bore mirrors and that are marked Winchester. From my reserch these are fairly rare and I am not sure on this part of the reserach that late production were marked 1892. The mirrors in both are good and clear and overall condition is good

What is the purpose of them .

you insert these into the open lever action and point the muzzle to the light to inspect the bore. There is mirror inside these at a angle so when you look in the top you are looking in the bore.
