There is an auction near the end of the month and I was just looking at a list of toys that will hit the block. I have always wanted to possess (or be possessed by) a Win. M100 in .284 (or .308 would do). Now I got some cash burning a hole in my pocket and I see this.

What are my chances that one of the M100s is a "7" (.284 win.)?

Just make sure you get a real good look first. There might be a good reason the gun is at auction. Other than that, I hope it works out great for you.
 
I bet all .308's. Maybe one .243. Like Randy said LOOK OUT on auction items. I have owned several 88's and 100's over the years and I have alot of respect for the model 88 but not the 100. I have found that if the original owner was not a "gun" guy the 100's were the first to show problems from low maintanence. I wish you luck with your search. The bottom two (a 88 and 100) have cut checkering and will be pre 64 models.
