Hey folks, my father gave me this, I've had my eye on it since I was a kid. I don't think he even put a box through it, it's spotless with the box even. He must have picked it up around '70.
Any opinions ? Not looking to sell it but curious what it may be worth. I really know nothing about it, were they known as anything special or average ?
Worth the time to put a scope on ? Can you even put a scope on it ?

Just like this one

Thanks

The Canadian Centential may have been the most produced of all the commemoratives. In fired condition they seem to show up regularily at about $350. I've got a rifle length version that I fitted with a Lyman receiver sight, and shot pails of cast bullet loads out of. 30-30s don't fit in with my hunting, but I do like playing with the leverguns. Grew up with them, you know.
Scope options would be forward mounting a handgun scope, or offset mounting a regular one. I wouldn't do it.

Win 67 Cdn Centennial makes a great shooter.

Nix on the scope but a Williams or Lyman peep site is a very cool addition to one that you are going to use as a shooter.
