This might be a dumb question but does anyone know if the Winchester Commemoratives built to the same standard mechanically as their regular counterparts. What I am comparing is an as new Winchester Cheyenne 9422 to the regular 9422 and despite its fancy finishing, the Cheyenne is cheaper by more than a $100. Thanks.

pre 64 M94s were built much better than post 64s. Depending on the year your commemorative was made, can show quality. demand equals price. So many commemoratives coming on the market lately, they do not draw high prices.
