I was asked to get the info, and if possible, find a buyer for an older .22 that belonged to a friends elderly relative. It's a Winchester mod.68 in overall VERY good condition. The sling swivels have to be a later addition, but other than that, and some minor surface rust blossoms, it's in lovely shape....clean bore, nice walnut stock, and no significant flaws. Any helpful comments would be appreciated.

To have any real collector value, condition would have to be superior, as in just about new.
A nice shooter like this one could sell for $75 - $100. Not likely that it would bring much more.

You wont have any problem finding a buyer, the old 67's and 68's are 27 inch tack drivers. You will be hard placed to replace it(just look at the crickets)and everybody is looking for a good youth model.

About 100.00 would be tops.
