Winchester Commemorative Collection- Who know what it’s worth?

Good day CGNers.
Recently I inherited a Winchester Commemorative Collection of seven 30/30 lever action rifles. All in their box and never fired. There’s even a box of ammunition in the boxes that not been opened.
These guns are over 40 years old and in mint condition.

Here’s the list;
1- RCMP
2- Apache
3-Cheyenne
4- Wells Fargo
5- Legendary Law Man
6- Golden Spike
7- Klondike Gold Rush

Currently I am just looking for the value of the firearms. I will not be using them and am not a collector of this type of firearm.

Cheers,
Josh

That’s the problem with the Commemorative guns. Too nice to shoot, but if you shoot them no value. Limited market I suppose. Wild ass guess 800-1000-ish each??? If your looking for a fast sale probably the lower amount. Good luck.

I suggest that you sell them one a a time to earn best value. Flooding the market guarantees lower value. Google each rifle to determine fair market value. Advertise on all of the Canadian gun sites.

The Winchester site gives you an idea of what each originally sold for, the number of rifle made in each category and if there were any secondary runs. The amount made will determine rarity which will guild you on the price. It will also help you narrow down the specific model... for example there were 4 versons of the RCMP model if you include the centennial.

Try and find out which of the bunch is the rarest as that would be the one that collectors are missing
and be worth the most.
Tough call as to value as some think they are worth more than they actually are.
Auction site may be the way to go on these.

Check out gunsamerica to see what they fetch for down south.
And yes folks, I do know our market is far different than theirs, but
increased value on particular models should be noted up here as well.

Good luck if you are thinking of selling them.
Myself?
I'd stash them away for nudder bunch of years just because I didn't have any
$$ into them.

They are all good looking guns but they are a hard sell ( they are of the more common/available models) the boxes and ammo really add to value but are not a rarity . Then there's the caliber issue most are no longer in general useage and thought to be hard to get ammo for them .( have sold accouple and heard the arguments) 800 to 1000 is the general price ranges . But if you need to sell ,they move much better in the 600 range with the ammo sold separate . Boxes in excellent shape can go for 50.00$ by them selfs the ammo you will have to check the market in your area for availablety and price .
