I am a Winchester Arms Collector Member (WACA #6103) living in Queensland Australia, and am presently studying the Winchester Model 1200, 1300, 1400 and 1500 shotguns, with a view to publishing a book detailing the guns. I have written a couple of preliminary articles, but this space does not permit me to upload them. However I can supply them on request by Private Mail.
I became aware that Winchester produced Canadian versions of the Model 1200 and 1400 shotguns as the Models 2200 and 2400 at the Cooey factory from 1968 to 1979, and whilst I would appreciate details of the Models 1200 to 1500, I am more concerned to obtain photos and Serial Numbers of the Models 2200 and 2400. Some of you have already helped me, but I need more examples. By chance some Model 2200 and 2400s were destroyed in the Australian Buyback records. There is even a record of a Model 2500 destroyed, but my research has not uncovered another. The Serial Numbers for the Model 2200 fit naturally into the Model 1200 series, as shown below:

It can be seen that the Model 2200s fit among Trench, Deer and Standard models and even 16Ga.
If you can help with details of shotguns you have owned, or still own, I would appreciate at least the Model, whether Plain or VR, what chokes are fitted, the Serial Number and if possible the year you purchased it. I would greatly appreciate photos of the gun both Left and Right sides, under the Receiver with the Serial Number (which may show Magnum), and the Barrel Address including the Proof Mark, and the Forarm Pattern.
