As title says, just wondering if anyone tried any of the three high-performance loads in 100-round plastic packs?

Yes I did tried 40 grain Power Point HP, very good quality ammo, clean on gun and always goes bang! Used them in 10/22 and Marlin 795, nooo problems.... I love it!

Are these really new rounds or is it just new packaging and marketing hype? I read the specs on the one called power point 40 grain hollow point and they seemed to be the same thing that was packaged by 50's in silver box.

I havent used the old powerpoint so I dont have it to compare to. But last night I tried out the new red box one and I wasnt quite sure what to think. I was shooting open sights at 20 meters and I didnt find it any better that the federal chapion 525 bulkpack stuff. Also it was quite dirty, I had heard good things about the old powerpoint so thats why i picked up this and it didnt live up to what I was expecting.

I have a bunch of similar plastic boxes and reuse them. Problem is they usually end up with a bunch of various types of ammo so I have no idea what's in them by now ... A surprise in every round !

Yea it isnt too bad I guess.
But I was hoping for better results. I was using my brand new ss/syn 10/22 that just arrived yesterday and I was having a few jambs and also it was quite dirty. It might just not be the ammo for THAT gun.
