Winchester lever

Hey everybody, a friend of mine has inherited a lever action winchester shotgun and was looking o some information on it. I don't know much about it either. Anything anybody can tell me about it. Mostly intersted in average price range and mabey any forum sites specific to that type of gun (like cowboy action shooting compatition forums).
