Winchester M100 Parts Changing Q

After all the years I've been collecting the Winchester 88 & 100 I thought I should know this !!
I've got a complete M100 in 308 and just a barrel and receiver together.If I took the parts out of the complete gun and put them into the other action will that gun now need to be head spaced or did Winchester use a general gauge so all parts will interchange will no probs.I've changed lots of other parts but never completely changed all the parts into a dif barrel and receiver.The action I have came from a parted out gun so the receiever is still the original for the barrel,never taken off.

It's my belief that the parts will interchange from one barreled action to another. Check the headspace before and after to confirm.

As a rule you should always check the headspace whenever changing a bolt and/or barrel on a rifle.
