To keep with the theme of this thread...
Here's a story, a bud of mine got given an Old 30-30 by a family friend.......seems the fella mentioned it was "shot out" and didn't shoot worth a dam.
Anyways long story short.....it was a decent original Octagon barreled Model 1894 with 38-55 clearly stamped on the barrel.
Seems all 30-30's look the same to some folks........
