These aren't in my realm of 'knowledge' - I have done research-not much on 20 gauge. I see 12's anywhere from $500 to $1000+
I see 1' 20 gauge for $495 shipped. Without knowing the details, is this a good 'MINIMUM' it should be worth?
Model 12 in 20 gauge - Average/decent Shape-I saw it once, quick.
Neighbour wants $3/400-so is it worth to pick up for $350?
Thnx
J.

if it's a plain bbl 20 ga in good plus condition some bluing loss original stocks full choke 600-$800
if it has any rust spots pits altered stocks or any thing that takes it away from original the price drops
Also if it's a early gun 1912 1916 ish it will be 2 9/16 chamber which also means the ejection port will be short and will cause 2 3/4 " hulls to hang up
that's about it
if it has a vent rib factory add 150-200$ if it has a solid rib add 100-200$ if it has deluxe checkered wood and 200-300$

KK, Thnx! That gives me some good info. Pretty much what you describe in your 1st line.
It isn't 2 9/16. No vent rib./no checkering.
Cheerz~~
Struff knows model 12's pretty good. 20 gauge are harder to find for sure. Odd barrel lengths and choke combos add value. Like 28 inch barrel and modified choke. Pretty sure after 1926 all Winchester shotguns were 2 3/4 inch chamber and so marked.
