Greetings,
While helping settle an estate involving non restricted long guns, I was taken by surprise when the widow (also executor) out right gave all the firearms. The one rifle which caught my attention is a Winchester single shot .22 marked for .22 short and long. One piece wooden stock with no buttplate just the original wood with some horizontal lines across the butt.
Would anyone have any knowledge or experience with this particular rifle? I am curious to learn more about it. In appearance it looks similar to a Cooey/Eatonia early .25 rimfire. Appreciate any info or feedback anyone can offer.
Cheers,
Mark -beaver455
