My neighbor just came over with a vg condition 22 win auto. He wants me to take it to the Consort gun show. I have no idea on Canadian value, looked up US prices. So would you Winchester aficionados please help. Thanks Aj

Could be a gold plated ivory handled $1m rimfire.
Could be a rotted paper weight.

VG means many things to many people.

You will get a much better response.

a few years ago I purchased one from Elwood epps and they were glad to be rid of it ,wood good + no cracks no rust or pits ,excllent bore and proper milled sights $160 taxes and shiped to me .Recently on a gun auction site one recently sold refinished wood ,cooey rear sight and some deeper patina in a few spots for just over $500 .I myself would have guessed its value at 200 ish ,but there seems to be something going on with the selfloaders that I am unaware of ???

VG is NRA vg. They seem to have a following south of the border but this one is here not "down there"

Be worth a lot more if ammo was still manufactured

Actually is fresh run ammo made 2 years ago by Agulia 17-24 $ us a box and currently all over the states .nobody wants to import

Check Rusty Wood (dealer here) for ammo. I think he brought in some for someone.
