Hey guys,

I picked up a winchester model 68 single shot .22 this weekend. Since these guns have no serial number, dating them is a little harder. The grooves in the forestock make it pre-35. The thing that really gives it away is "FRED VENZI 1933" engraved into the receiver; perhaps this was the original owner.

Wood appears good shape. A little lighter than any of the other 68's I have seen. The original peep sights are there, but with a hood over the front sight that I have never seen before. I don't think its original, but it has been done very nicely. There is a spot of brazing on the rear sight holding it in place. Shoots very good.

I'm just curious if anyone on here knows what a gun like this would be worth. I'm not terribly interested in parting with it, I would like to get an idea of a value.
