I found with my 308's the best combo was a 20 moa rail and Burris rings. This allowed a 100 yard zero and enough elevation with the 8-32 scopes I used. Thats a very nice target 70. - dan

Good scopes for shorter range, they were popular in airgun competitions way back.
The 25moa total adjustment is the limiting factor. I have one on a Savage 10HS and it's great out to 200m.
It shoots 5 rounds into those shoot n see target patches at 100m and that gets boring fast lol.

I bought a similar rifle from the iron cat a few years ago. I had to do the same thing and add a 20 moa rail to the top. I don’t have a scope on it at the moment, but it’s still a decent backup or good for someone who’s just starting out. I’ll probably pass it along when I see someone who’s looking into getting into ftr.

I got another M12 BR in 6.5x284 Norma too . Dual ported also .
