Winchester model 70

Check Ellwood Epps in Ontario. They usually have a few around. Also, I seem to recall Bashaw Sports in Alberta having a couple Extreme Weather models on the rack, but I can't say what cartridges were available.

The 7mm-08's exist but in my short time searching around the ones I found were sold out. Your best bet if you truly want one and can't find it is to contact one of the Various dealers of Winchester rifles and put an order in. I know North pro Sports puts in pre orders for those who want the new ones and specific calibers when shot show is going on.

I bought one just before covid hit. They haven't chambered the extreme weather in 7-08 since 2016,my dealer called the distributor and they "found one in the warehouse " for me. I have since upgraded but it was an extremely well handling, easy carrying and accurate rifle. Good luck in your search.

Apparently they still do offer the 7-08 I have not held one but I’m thinking it would be a good choice for deer hunting rifle. Wondering how long of a wait to get one in?

Does any one who owns one have any feed back on accuracy and fit feel and handling.

The original Extreme Weather SS is not available in 7mm-08 anymore. You can get either the muzzle brake version (item 535242218) or the tungsten cerakoted muzzle brake version (item 535238218) in 7mm-08, I would just give your favorite Winchester dealer a call and ask if they can get one for you. If the distributor has one in stock it could be in your hands in a couple of weeks. If not and your heart is really set on one, you can try buying through Gunbroker and have it imported by I Run Guns. That method would usually take a couple of months at least.

Calgary shooting Center has a couple m70 EW in 6.5CM. If your set on a 7/08, I have an EW 7/08 take off barrel I bought from Bartell. I’d trade you for the 6.5 barrel.
