Winchester model 77

I'm looking at a Winchester model 77 semi auto .22 rimfire rifle in a local gun shop. The finish on the metal is a bit worn, the stock is in pretty good shape, it has the magazine. The price is $100.

Does it sound like the price is fair?

Are these at all collectible?

Do they tend to function reliably?

Are they reasonably accurate?

Are there any issues (other than no parts available) with them?

Win77

Any Win77 that works and still has a clip has got to be worth $100. They're good little guns and there's still lots of them around for sale in the $150 - $250 range.

As an afterthought, if you meant that it is the tubular magazine version then that is even better - no clip to lose!
