Winchester model 77?

I'm looking for info on a model 77 semi-auto with clip I'm considering buying. I'm always wonder why when they only make a model for a few years ('55-'63) before dropping it. Are there any specific problems to look for on these rifles? Are spare clips available? Accuracy? Value? Thanks for any advice you may be able to provide.

Are you buying this rifle in NB? The last one I bought was tube fed, not great bluing but it shoots well. I paid $145.00 for it. How much is the one you are looking at? FS

It's unlikely I'll buy it. They want $250, but it is in minty condition and has a beautiful stock.

Dont buy it I had one looked nice but jammed a lot .For 250.0 you could get a Ruger 10/22

I could also get a Savage Mk II, the best accuracy for the money these days in my opinion.
