Winchester model 88 ,284 magazine?

I have a winchester magazine and on the follower is has "M-88" and on the front it is stamped "243,308" at the top with hash marks over it and then about 1/2" lower it is stamped "284" so dose that mean it is for a 284 only?? it just turned up in a box of stuff and am just trying to find what its for .

Yup, .284 magazine for a win 88, factory crossed off the .243 & .308 and made minor changes to make it a .284.

any Idea what they are worth?

Last year I bought a new model 88 magazine in 308 from Brownells. It was $46.95 US. I might guess a rare caliber magazine might fetch $60+. But that's just a guess.
