Winchester model 88 trigger?

Is there any thing that can be done to one of these triggers? Mine is horrible, any smiths out there that have done these?. Thanks

I would clean it, then go over the edges for any burrs etc, lube and reassemble and see how that works. You can work on these, but they are more complex then your typical bolt action. - dan

Ditto the cleaning. Mine had a bit of cleaning jag in the mechanizm. Not a bad trigger at all on mine now.

88 trigger

Diddo,also.Mines an 1966 308 cal and the triggers great on it.I have never touch it since it was new.Still works smooth and not to heavey to pull very little creep and over travel nice crisp trigger.Donnyman
