Winchester model 94

I bought Win 94 30-30 - one made in 1958, one made in 1955 - bought in 2017 and 2019 - paid $600 and $550 mailed to me. So likely double that today, at CGN prices??
 
Flat band? That would probably carry a premium.

Assuming no extra holes drilled, in metal or wood, no pieces missing, i.e., sight hood and original sights, bore not a sewer pipe, probably $800-ish would be realistic.
 
Has flat band no extra holes woods good nothing missing sight hood is there original sights bore is very good about 90%blueing there just on the receiver it’s light
 
Might want to review what is posted For Sale on EE - was a 1956 posted since you started this thread - rounded band, no front sight hood - asking $1300 - was still up a few minutes ago. I really have no clue what they actually really go for - can only relate to my own purchase and sale experiences on CGN EE. I understand that some auction sites do either post, or have a way to find out, what the final sale prices were. So much depends on the particular buyer that "got the urge" and saw that ad or auction, that day, and had the money available. As mentioned many times - there is no "price list" - is worth what someone will pay to you, and that you will accept, at that time.
 
If you ask someone sane and rational who understands that they made literally almost 8 million of these things in North America over 100 years and they're almost all still floating around out there? $500 to $600 if it's in really good shape.
If you ask certain other types? Anywhere from $900 up to $1800 lol.....
 
There were only 2 1/2 million pre 64's made, and agree with it or not, they are more collectible. Flat band models were only made for, I think, 3 years, so they are desirable from a collectors point of view, even though it was Winchester's way of trying to make things cheaper.

Probably looking at 800-1000 if it's as nice as the OP says.

Well. Much like Colt single action revolvers these rifles hold an association to the settlement of the North American frontier.
Hence the demand. Like it or not.
