Winchester Powder

Most places don't even list it available yet, so I hardly think any has landed in Canada.

I did see Nechako has is online now, but of course "out of stock". Maybe they have ordered it, and await a shipment?

Looks promising, as well as the "match"
 
There was some in the Vernon Canadian Tire store, shortly after it became available a few years ago. Since that initial shipment, nothing again.
 
The numbers look better on paper for the 6.5 PRC than the H1000 I'm using now. I'll have to keep my eyes open and try and find some when it finally lands here. Be an interesting comparison for sure.

4.5 gr less powder, less pressure, and more velocity. Again as listed in their manual anyways. Watched a small exert by Gavin from shot show talking about it. I'm sure he will get it way before we do, and do a run up with it in a 6.5 prc.

Hmmmm, any numbers that I have looked at show the staball better than the staball match. in the 6.5 creed and the 7-08 anyways. Maybe that's why no one is trying it, yet.

Makes me think of the N568 numbers, and flop for 6.5 PRC.
 
Read some other reloading articles last night using the staball match in other cartridges. Maybe there is a home for it, just not with the calibers that I'm shooting.

I am going to get some of the standard staball 6.5 and try it in the 7-08. The numbers are hugely quicker than even the H4350, which is surprising in itself. Over 200 fps faster. May be a month or so before I can see what difference if any, but worth a try for me while I hunt some of the staball HD to try.
 
StaBALL Match is a quicker burn rate powder, think Varget / 4895 ballpark. It's not going to give good velocity at sensible pressures in 6.5cm or 7mm-08. It will be better suited to a 223 or 308

StaBALL HD will be a good fit in the 6.5 PRC, 7 PRC, 300 PRC and 7mm Rem Mag, 300wm. Similar to H1000 or RL26 for burn rate. It won't give good velocity in a 7mm-08 either....

As for N568 in the 6.5 PRC, it works good with Berger 156 EOL. I'd go with N565 for 147gr or lighter bullets
 
Well the staball HD is showing up in inventory now on the shelves.

Have a few lbs on its way to try in the 6.5 prc. Going to be interesting to compare it to H1000 with the 156 gr bullets.
