That is all I can say about that!

Ruger 10-22, Fab 11.5" barrel.

Eats rem thunderbolts, win target 22s, win wildcats as fast as the trigger finegr works.

Win PP HP 22s. Suck balls.

Any other opinion ou there?

Win 22

I've got a Norinco EM-332. Of all the ammo I've tried (about 15 kinds), the most accurate is the Win 22 High Speed. Overall, all Winchester ammo shoots better out of my rifle than any other brand I've tried so far, including Eley, Rem, Federal.

I concur.

Those who like Winchester rimfire ammunition like it a lot.

In my experience, it is generally sub-standard and best-suited only for malfunction drills.

P.S.: It does work in revolvers.

Of all my .22's , that is actually the only ammo between the 4 rifles and 2 handguns that consistently works for me. All others seems to be decent, but I would actually compete using this .22 ammo. Funny how guns can be so fickle on ammo from one to the next, even off the assembly line.

X2
Keeps jamming in my Ruger Mark II and 1911 Conversion .22.

Works fine in my single shots .22 rifles :)

Winchester Power Point are very reliable in my Ruger 10/22.

I have done a few things to mine, such as a few key volquarson parts & I polished the bolt.

I have killed a lot of gophers with this fine Winchester product. I do think it is over priced now that it is around $36.00 a brick. But always accurate in my collection of CZ rimfires. FS

OH !!! The joys of owning an auto loader...I'm glad I got rid of all that I had and stuck to my bolts they LOVE everything...Hey when do the new CZ 512's come out I can hardly wait...LOL..............enjoy the game!!

I accidently learned how to make low power .22s work in semis.

I was tinkering on a gun that just wouldn't fully function - the bolt not smacking back far enough - tired of this, I hosed it down with WD and tried again - and it worked.

Of course it blew WD all over my hands - which was the cure - now my hands are lubing each bullet as I load the clip - so the chamber is slippery, and the cases are slippery.

A bit of WD on a rag on the shooting bench - drop a few bullets at a time on the rag to slick them up a little before loading the clips.

This is of course not a cure - just a way to make weak bullets function - until you can pick up stronger ones.

Power Points wouldn't feed properly from my Butler Creek mag in my 10/22. Feed perfectly from the factory mags.
Very accurate out of my 10/22

Lets' get this started!!!!!!

Butler creek magazine quick fix

If you are having the problem of the cartridges not moving up in the Butler Creek Steel Lips magazine's. Here is the quick fix.

This is usually caused by the rims catching on a small area near the rear of the metal cartridge guide. You can fix it by using a small, flat jeweler's file and removing a very small amount of the ramped area marked in red. (See photo)

I borrowed this from Goose25s excellent "Tips & Tricks" regarding Ruger 10/22 rifles. This is from a sticky from our rimfire forum.

(this info posted first, in 2006)

sounds like a 10/22 problem not an ammo problem. 10/22's that i have used dont like yellowjacket rounds very much. the 77/22 however really likes them.

shoulda bought a 77/22

I officially retract my grudge against Winchester PPs.

It was my BC mag, which has becomes fussy and I guess I will have to try the file trick.

Anyhow, they feed fine in my regular mags.

On another note, the BC mags have become fussy to the point they misfeed everything so off to file I go. If that don't work, I will trash them. They are about 5 years old, have seen thousands of rounds and have been apart and glued twice....
