Would a side loading gate damage the lead on a .22?

Considering what people want for actual Winchester 9422s now, yeah that's a heck of a good price!

Would a side loading gate damage the lead on a .22?

Yes, the spring pressure of the gate would bend the bullet out of alignment. Funny enough a 21 sharp might alleviate that problem as its a non heeled bullet which is harder to bend out of place.

Wow it breaks my heart to see the Winchester name on Turk made stuff. Hope its nicely done but...

More new guns on the market (if they are worthwhile) the better and good on the store for bringing them in! I just have a hard time with it from an irrational standpoint lol
