just got a call to go look at the new production model 70 safari express in 375 h + h and guess what the price was 1100 for the 375 . one I will be taking home this week after my pay cq arrives.the guys that post them for 2000 will have a hard time selling there's, after the price gouginging that was going on, the model 94s are up though . I took a look at a brand new 38-55 94 and will be taking one of those home as well.the wood I've seen so far has been higher grade than I'm used to , which is a plus,

I don't know who has been selling new Safari Express Model 70's for $2000, but it'd take a fool to pay that price, the suggested retail price in the Winchester catalogue is US$1350, and most dealers in Canada seem to list them around the $1200 mark.
Right now the hard part is actually finding one for sale, demand seems to be bigger than the supply. I got one from Epps a couple weeks ago and love it, its a great rifle. And yes Phil, the new Model 70s are all CRF
