Winchester repairs

I've purchased a used Winchester - Select Energy Sporting and I've noticed that a small piece of walnut is missing on the forend just at the top left of the forearm removal latch.

Does anyone know a) where winchester does these repairs and b) how long these repairs usually take?

Since it is not a warranty repair, I would not send it to Winchester. A good stock man will be able to make a nearly invisible repair. You do not state your location, but there are qualified individuals in almost every province.
