A friend of mine has a old Winchester 30 WCF and he ask me if the S stamped on the frount top of the the receiver is something special ? The gun it self is pretty beet up ( was reblued years ago ) has many dings and scratches ,lose stock just a little bit of wiggle in it ,and a dented barrel . So its no Diamond in the rough ,just a good truck gun . Just wondering about that S stamp .thanks!
