what chokes did it come with?
IC seems popular as a sporting choke, but it really depends on where you shoot and how far the targets are. I have shot, and won many sporting shoots with my skeet gun (sk-sk). then I got some sporting bbls with chokes and don't shoot much better but change chokes all the time. I never have a tighter choke than Mod in my gun and typically just leave the IC in... even if they are super close shots.
for trap, Modified is really quite sufficient but most of the really good guys will have something tigher in. You can even run 25 with IC if you want... although it's less common.
Wouldn't be a bad idea to experiment.
