250 Savage 100 gr.
257 Roberts 100 gr.
270 Winchester 130 gr.
30-30 Winchester 150 gr.
30-30 Winchester 170 gr.
30-40 Krag 180 gr. ?
300 Savage 150 gr. ?
308 Winchester 150 gr. ?
30-06 Springfield 180 gr. ?
300 Winchester Mag. 180 gr. ?
300 H&H 150 gr. ?
338 Winchester 250 gr.
348 Winchester 25 gr. ?
35 Remington 200 gr.
358 Winchester 250 gr. ?
375 H&H 300 gr.

The items with ? I am unsure of the bullet weight. I know there are other cartridges and other bullet weights and I would like to know what I am missing.
I know there was 200 gr 308 bullets and I am not sure what was available for 7mm bullets.
I am just starting to look for information on the web and some old Winchester info that I have.
Thanks for any info that you may be able to supply.

I almost forgot about a .270 140 gr. boat tail that was available for a short while, not to be confused with the "ballistic silvertip" which is just a Nosler ballistic tip with a paint job.

Not Looking for any of the Ballistic Silvertips.
Just the old style Silvertips.
I was sure that .308 bullets came in 150, 180 and 220 grain.
I found out that the 300 WM came with a 220 gr. ST. and just seen a picture of a box of 220 gr. ST in 30-40 Krag.
Also found out last night that the 348 came in both 200 and 250 grain, and thanks 9.3.
I cannot find any info on the 7 x 57 so I don't think the came in a Silvertip.
I know the 243 never came with an original ST only the new Ballistic ST. sorry FF as for the 168 gr. 30-06 that was the BST (Ballistic ST) correct me if I am wrong Candocad.

9.3, the 270 140gr was the BST was it not? At least that was what I found.
I am not sure if the 270 ever had a 150 gr. ST. I am still looking for that info.

Thanks all for the Info so far.

I have found a pdf copy of the 1960 Winchester catalog that lists ammo and I can see what cartridges have the ST designation in 1960.
Have more that half of them.
I also have noticed that the 308 Winchester had a 200 gr. ST.

Thanks for all the input.
Thanks Craig for looking.

I'm pretty sure Winchester had a proper silvertip in 140 gr. Probably back in the 90's? I'm sure there was never a 150 silvertip for the .270, and the only bullets for the 7x57 were a 175 gr round nose, and later a 145 gr. spritzer.

I have some 90's winchester ammo catalogs and when I find the box they are in I will let you know.
Can hardly wait till I get the basement and new gun room completed.

Thanks
