I have a super x2 universal hunter. Can I use it to deer hunt? Someone suggested buckshot. What is that. I'm told i can't use slugs as there is no rifle choke. Any suggestions or help, please?

I don't wish to come off as a smart ass, but the questions you are asking tell me you could benefit from an experienced hunter as your mentor. Do you have anyone in the family or circle of friends you could team up with??

As to your questions,

1) Buckshot is large diameter pellets used for hunting larger animals with a shotgun. Yes, it is legal to use it to shoot deer.
2) Slugs will work in unrifled barrels. They just tend to work better from fully rifled or rifled choke guns.
