Winchester Super X Model 1-Return Spring Follower

Trying to replace the follower and buffer but am at a standstil.

Where do I go from here? Is this threaded in? Friction?

As far as I recall, the pin in the follower is what's holding...
- compress the spring and hold it in place
- use proper punch to drive out the pin

Yours doesn't look too bad

The new one and existing look a little different- hope it works!

FYI for anyone new doing this- once you pop the pin out that spring is shooting out pretty quick!

Where did you get the new one?
- That's quite the change on the cup design. I'd assume it works just has well as the old (smaller, cup). Maybe one could reshape their old buffer?

I bought it from WGP-western gun parts out of Edmonton Alberta.

I couldn't find one- still looking!
