Does anybody shoot the Winchester super X2? What do you guys think? I was looking at one of these today and it looks like a pretty good gun.

are there any other semi auto shotguns that are well made for low money?

Stoeger makes ane great semi. (model 2000) Very cheap too. Almost bought one at a shop here a few weeks ago in mint condition for $479 but it sold the next day. :bangHead:

I owned a SuperX2 3.5" 26" barrel MOBU. Was using it for turkey and waterfowl but couldn't seem to get it to patteren well enough for my turkey loads. Tried several brands and sizes of loads, chokes, and pattern still very patchy. Had it for 2.5 yrs and I sold it and bought a Beretta AL391 3" MOBU. This gun fits me a little better than the Winchester, but everyone is different for fitment of guns. I liked the SX2 and it never had any mechanical failures with the X2. I guess I got one that just wouldn't shoot. I believe the SX2 is a browning gold minus the mag cut off with a winchester stamp. Just my 2 cents
