I like the wide rib and double bead of the winchester sx3 sporting, but I dont like it only being 2.75" shells. Will this sporting barrel fit on the 3" field gun?
Yes it will, and unless you have the chamber lengthened, it will still only handle 2-3/4" shells. On the other hand, the barrel off of an SX-3 Flanigan has two beads, and a 3" chamber.
