i have a sx3 cantilever buck slug gun. I borrowed my cousins smoothbore barrel off his sx3 but my gun wouldnt cycle skeet loads. Any ideas?

How many rounds have been fired through the gun? Has the gun been properly cleaned and oiled? My own SX-3 wouldn't cycle light loads reliably, when new, so I manually cycled the action a couple of hundred times, then cleaned and oiled it again, and now it cycles every load that I have tried.

Guns new very clean only shot 20 slugs through it

Depends on what you call skeet loads. Mine will handle my 1oz reloads but nothing lighter

They generally aren't lubed very well from the factory. Take it apart, lube it properly, then cycle the action manually for a few minutes.
