Looking for some insight. I have a Winchester sxp defender, I want to use it for geese but woth the short barrel it's not ideal to hunt with.
Anyway I bought a longer field barrel with invector choke, when it arrived I put it on only to realize that the ring on the barrel slides down past the magazine cap threads. I didn't really look into it but I guess the defender has a longer magazine tube than a regular sxp.
My question is how would you make it work?
I'm thinking of getting a piece of pipe or sleeve and cut down to the measurement between the bottom of the magazine cap to the mag tube ring on the barrel so it should snug it up nice.
Would that be sufficient or should I try something else?
