Morning everyone I have a issue with my SXP Defender. I bought a barrel that I could hunt with but when I tried to install it I found that there is a 2.25" difference in the chamber to ring lug dimension. Both barrels are stamped SXP 3". Clearly not all SXp are the same. It is very difficult to find a replacement barrel that is not cost prohibitive for this gun. Is a gunsmith able to relocate the barrel ring lug? Can I make a spacer? any info will help.
