Winchester SXP barrels

Hello there,

I have recently purchased a Winchester SXP Shotgun. I am so far enjoying it. It currently has the waterfowl barrel on it. When I bought it there were combo kits that I couldn't afford at the time. I am looking for a place that will sell me a barrel for an SXP. 18in camp barrel and the rifled deer. Does anyone know where I can get these? Used would be fine as well.

I had a similar idea a few years ago. The combo packages were all sold out, and no one could say when, if ever, they would be back.

A close friend had the combo. I discovered that his SXP model that came with 2 extra barrels had a longer magazine tube. It holds one more 3" round than mine. Therefore, the 18.5" barrel from his combo package would not fit on my SXP 28". The longer magazine tube length is needed to put that barrel on.

So if you do find someone who is selling one, you need to make sure it will fit. I looked at replacement barrels and for the cost of the ones I saw in the US, it just didn't make sense.

That was my experience, we'll see if anyone else has something to add.
 
I havd the winchester camp/field model and at one point i needed a new waterfowl barrel (dont ask i $&@&ed up the old one) and i was able to order one straight from winchester. You could call up the parts department and see what they have.

That's what I was thinking. If someone had bought the combo and lost a barrel say. There must be parts out there. My local gun shop is looking into it right now. I'll give it a while and if they can't find it then I'll call the manufacturer.
 
I was just wondering. When you ordered your barrel. Was the price reasonable? You don't have to say exactly how much. I just want to know it the price seemed fair. The difference in price between the normal SXP and the combo is about 100$. I'm hoping that the barrel will be around that.
