Winchester SXP line of guns

Are these guns just Turkish junk or are they better quality because it has the Winchester name ?

They are about the only shotgun that come from turkey that is not junk
Basically the old Winchester 1200 series which were ok guns a couple of changes for the better

Good gun. But consider finding a US made 1300.

Many of the Turkish guns are copies of American or European guns, some are good and others are junk!

They are one of the only Turkish made pump shotguns I’d consider buying, a friend has one and it seems well made. He’s had it for 4-5 years and I’ve never heard him complain about it.

Got the hybrid hunter model in 20 gauge this year and so far am really happy with it. No problems so far and it patterns really well with lead and steel.

My buddy had one that would slam fire without touching the trigger. It was sent somewhere for recall and the replacement he got had issues. This was several years ago I forget the details but he didn't keep the replacement long
I can't remember but I think it was only the 3.5" guns that were recalled. There are videos on line showing them self destruct when firing as well. Again older videos as in 3 or 4 years

I sold mine…didn’t like it much. But to be fair, not a fan of any pump shotgun.

The gun was well made and functioned well.
